Wednesday 24th June - Wacky Wednesday Mufti Day, come as your favourite Disney character (i.e. Mickey/Minnie mouse). Please remember your Gold coin donation.
22nd - 26th June - Year 6 Camp to Kawau Island
Tuesday 30th June & Wednesday 1st July - Parent/Teacher Interviews. Years 4 - 8. Mid year reports will be given to parents at the interviews. Bookings are available online, please go to the following link:.

Wednesday 1st July - School Disco at the Whangaparaoa Golf Club from 6.00pm - 7.30 pm.
Pre-order your children's tickets using the ticket order form which will be coming home today. $5 per ticket - includes a free glow stick for pre-ordered tickets. Bring some cash as glow items, drinks and snacks will be available to purchase.
Missing Item - we have had a students playstation go missing last Friday. If for some reason you find your child has brought this home please contact the school.  Parents are reminded attractive and expensive items such as play stations are not appropriate to bring to school.

Doors open from 6:15pm. Quiz starts promptly at 7.00pm. Don't forget your drinks, nibbles and of course glasses to drink out of!
Please ensure that your table is paid for by Wednesday this week. We still have 7 tables which need to be paid for!  Preferably one payment per table please. Either come into the school office or you can use the school online shop.  Rooms 8 & 9 will be open for table decoration between 12.00 - 2.00pm on Saturday.
Thursday 18th June Hands Alive Puppet Theatre
As part of the literacy focus in the junior school, Hands Alive Puppet Theatre will be coming to GHS to perform a show about Fairytales to the Year 1 & 2 team. A mini workshop about how the puppets work will follow this. The cost is $3.50 per child. Please pay either online through the School Shop or at the school office.
Room 13 are collecting items for their Scientific & Technological World of Plants journey. If you have any of the following items, could you please drop them off to the classroom:
  • Clean Recycled plastic 1 & 1.5 litre plastic bottles.
  • Potting mix / compost
  • Small plastic pots for seedlings
  • Seed raising trays
  • Gardening tools: small trowels, small gloves, small watering cans
  • Seeds – herbs, flowers
  • Plant – herbs, flowers
  • Outdoor Paints
