17th December - Year 8 Graduation, 6.00 - 8.00pm for guests, 6.00 - 10.00pm for students.

Tuesday 9th December  Open Evening for Scholastics Book Fair, 6.30 - 8.30pm, come along and do some Xmas shopping. Monday 15th December  Class lists and school reports will be given to all students Tuesday 16th December  9.30am End of year assembly Wentworth Sports Complex 2.00pm Students visit new classes to meet their 2015 teacher and fellow students. 6.00 - 7.30pm School Disco at Whangaparaoa Golf Club. Door Sales available, tickets $5.00.  Last day for pre order forms to be in is tomorrow 10th December.  Please place your form and money in the box at the office. Wednesday 17th December Classes will be involved in a significant amount of shifting of furniture. We would greatly appreciate any parent help. 6.00 - 10.00pm Year 8 Graduation Thursday 18th December School closes 1.00pm. Caretaker Position - The school is advertising a caretaker position for 2015. Information available from the school office, e mail office@ghs.school.nz or from the school web site. 8th - 12th December - Scholastics Book Fair, Xmas shopping before, during and after school in the library, 8.00am - 3.30pm every day.

9th - 12th December - Waterwise for Years 3, 4 & 6. Shakespear Park.

10th December - Board of Trustees Meeting 6.30pm in the Staffroom.

11th December - Year 2 Overnight Camp at school.

16th December End of Term Assembly - Wentworth Sports Complex, 9.30am.  Everyone welcome.

Week of 25 November 2014

1st December - Interschool Athletics, Millennium Centre Albany. 9.30am - 2.00pm.  Students partaking will travel by bus.  Come along and watch your child compete in the Hibiscus Coast Competition.

8th - 12th December "NEWSFLASH" Book Fair is coming every day of week 9  from 8.00am to 3:30pm ..... Christmas Shopping done before and afterschool! Raise money to finish furnishing the Library.
