Our students have spent the first 3-4 weeks of the school year finding out more about themselves and how they learn.  They would like to share this with you.
The interviews will have two parts.  Firstly students will share what they have discovered and then there will be a chance for the student, teacher and parents/caregivers to discuss and set 2 or 3 goals for the child to focus on.  These goals will be based around the values, skills and attitudes needed for learning.
We value your input into your child’s learning and ask that you make time to attend these interviews.  Please visit the www.schoolinterviews.co.nz to book a time. Event Code: F72FQ

Keeping Devices Safe
It's great to see students bringing their devices to school. They are a powerful tool to help our learning. It's important that they stay safe so here are some important reminders to consider. Keep your device in your school bag between home and the classroom. We don't want to see them dropped. Use a case for protection. Make sure that they are locked away at interval and lunch. Student's need to remeber this. Consider engraving the device for easy identification. Activate the  'Find my iPad' feature on the device so that it can be located if lost.
Here is a video showing you what to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVD32TfuMcE
I have also put this information on my blog, same link as above.
